Sorry to hear about the GM seizure. I'm 53 & I've been having them since 6th grade. I've been through the six months of no driving a few times. Has your Neurologist been trying different meds on you? Back surgery and GM seizures sounds like a terrible combination. And migraines? You've got family there to help you?
This is the only attitude to have in this situation. If your situation is anything like mine, you'll have good days and bad ones. The good ones seem great after a few bad ones.
Let me know if you want to hear some of my seizure stories. My meds once caused me to sleepwalk, during seizures.

Yeah I've been on a number of them. Dilantin. Keppra. Keppra xr. And currently lamictal xr. Dilantin did pretty good just bad side effects I was always sick. Keppra xr was probably the best but it was making my hair fall out so we switched to lamictal. No side effects at all with it but it apparently doesn't stop my seizures too good even after a brain surgery. I think I'm going to ask them to put me back on Keppra. Who cares about my hair I'll get some over the counter crap and see if it'll offset what the medicine does. But yeah, my family, mom and brother in particular are really really good to me. Sounds gay but I don't know what I'd do without my mom it is unreal the amount she does for me.

Just read this thread, and I'm with OML on this one. If that movie was animated, those artists are incredible.
ETA: Glad it won, as it was one of my favorites of the year, just won the wrong category.
