Assuming this were plausible, no way Henry would be allowed to play little league even if his arm was back to normal. Guess this would also screw his eligibility for College ball too.
Also, I never understood how Henry made a pretty big chunk of change but couldn't get a pair of baseball pants so he wouldn't have to wear blue jeans.
I love this movie. Thomas Ian Nicholas before he splooged in a beer, and Gary Busey before he went batshit. Also the strikeout cameo of a pre-juice Barry Bonds. A pillar of my childhood movie rotation.

Good movie but I always preferred Little Big League. Probably because I was a huge Twins fan growing up (I had a huge mancrush on Kirby Puckett)

College eligibility is certainly gone, but why can't he play little league? I'm sure there's no amateur status rule in a league that lets you wear blue jeans to games

whenever i watch this movie, i always think about if i would throw away my high school career (i always assume no college ball in my hypothetical) and shite to do what henry does. pretty sure i would do it, but ive never made a concrete decision. high school sports are fun as shite, but a chance in the big leagues is tough to pass up.

Hot Ice! You heat up the ice cubes! Best of both worlds!

Henry's girlfriend was also Julie the cat gaffney in mighty ducks

The Cubs first baseman was the Janitor from Scrubs (Neil Flynn)

Not sure if I watched any movie more than this when I was a kid. I also had no idea Daniel Stern directed it along with playing the greatest pitching coach ever. I don't think there's a more awesome name than Chet Steadman either. If I change my username it wouldn't definitely be that.
