I dunno. The kids they’ve cast as Jesse, Judy, and Kelvin are pretty damn funny.

I don’t disagree. Just somewhat frustrating 2 / 9 episodes this season were throwbacks. I loved the first episode with BC though.

Another terrible episode. That's 2 this season. Hopefully no more.

They’re fine but still not as funny as the main cast IMO

Ugh, I started this episode and didn’t make it 10 minutes in. No reason to have a flashback episode at this point in the series. Hopefully they get back on track next week.

younger Jesse cracks me up. Of course he knocked up amber and of course he wanted to name the kid “Stallone”

and it’s clear we will see Michael Rooker again

Episodes like tonight make me feel ok that the show is wrapping up. No matter how great every show reaches a point where it starts to lose it's magic touch and it turns stale.

The Gemstone kids are great though.

I tuned in to see Dr Watson and Judy throwing fists, so this episode was disappointing

So far this season, there were 2 absolutely great episodes. Last night was not one of them. I dislike "look 'em backs."

BTW, anyone else think Cory and his wife are on the outs? When they were at the lake house, every time they were in scenes together, he seemed annoyed with her. Has me thinking, who will they each hook up with?

The kids were entertaining for sure (I almost felt like there was some AI used... as their voices/mannerisms were pretty dead on with the adult actors), but the overall episode was a miss for me.

I hate to say this, but I sort of dislike Aimee-Leigh's character and am kind of put off anytime she's on the screen for long.

It’s insane how much young Danny McBride sounds like him. If I look away for a second and he’s talking, I think Danny has shown up in the scene out of nowhere was half expecting him to cameo as a family member since that’s probably the last we see of the kids.

What was up with the mullet on Megan Mullally? Wasn't it supposed to be 2002?

I think so, but I would wear that Conway Twitty sweatshirt she had on in the studio every day- that thing was AWESOME. Maybe the best part of the episode- it did drag on a little long. A few chickles, but no real laughs tonight

I thought it was the series finale

It should have been.

They either should have ended it last season or ended after a couple more seasons. I knew it was going to be the wrong move when he ended it after 4.

The timeline messed me up as well. Is this just the show trying to indicate their further disconnect with society in the early 2000's? I thought the only character dressed for the time was the younger version of Sean William Scott.

It wasn't a homerun episode but I laughed a few times and overall enjoyed it.

when Kelvin was reading Judy's diary, she mentioned Dr. Carmicheal.

That was a callback to the scene at outback when she talked about molesting him and kidnapping his kid.
