Never watched New Normal, never will. But I'm getting in to Revolution and Go On has potential, though I need to catch up on a couple episodes.

Apparently DVR and online viewing is now being factored into ratings. I was reading about how that has helped revolution a lot in the ratings game.

Its about damn time they account for the DVR viewing.

Go On is pretty good so far... has me laughing enough per episode to watch more.

I watched the first 5 or so minutes of a sneak preview of New Normal and it was probably the worst 5 minutes of sit-com TV I've ever seen in my life.

They have been including 3 days out and 7 days out dvr ratings .. for about 5 years now.

They are adding internet views into ratings this year, is that what you are thinking about?

obviously more show about gay people are needed Definitely need to represent the 2-5% of the population that is gay with an exponentially larger percentage of all sitcomes containing homosexuals...

If Ryan Murphy has one thing.. it's an incredibly big following.

I think I read the same article he did. It was about DVR views. I know they've been tracking same-day, +3, and +7 for a while, but they've only been using same-day in the calculations.

Also, even if they aren't using every one of those stats in an official measurement, at least NBC is paying attention to them now, which is progress.

I haven't seen the last couple episodes, but as I said, I just think it has potential. It may never get there though.

It's exactly what NBC said they wanted though when re-tolled their comedy focus. Broad, formulaic, and with dated and forced pop-culture references.

But it has a good cast and with better writing could be much more than what I listed above.

The biggest thing that you are going to see change over the next.. 3-4 years will start with Nielson counting internet views.

I am looking to bring show X to TV - before I start shooting, the network will go out and find 3-4 advertisers for the show, that season - those products will become the main advertising "in show".. and there are ways of doing these without it being invasive.

You will then have way less "commercials" and more of the things you use to see in Heroes with Sprint, it's like a commercial built onto the show, that would actually go on hulu and places like that.

I watched the first episode OnDemand because I didn't see anything else on TV. I liked it enough to keep watching. The 4th episode cracked me up.

I'm still watching Revolution, but it isn't taking off like I was wanting.

Saw the sneak preview of New Normal, I thought it looked awful.

Same. Haven't seen Revolution yet and New Normal is just really mediocre. None of the characters seem like real people. Especially the grandmother, who's like a cartoon stereotype.

Go on has surprised me. I'm not a Chandler fan at all.
The bearded nutcase is really funny.
All the nutcases are good though.
