Apparently the writers have never played the games before and had no intentions of playing them. Why is it so damn hard to make a quality series/movie from this franchise? Jesus Christ

Did the first episode lift scene from Black Hawk Down? It looks very similar.

This series seems like they watched a speed run of the 1st game and thought a zombie show with giant bug monsters was the entirety of resident evil

just finished the series.

definitely not the worst resident evil based show or movie I've watched...but I'd watched a season 2 for lulz when bored.

I can't understate how absolutely painful episode 1 was to even finish. There is no way I could watch the entire season.

To be fair, making a decent movie/tv show adaptation of any popular video game franchise has pretty much eluded Hollywood since...well forever.

That being said, that's no excuse for them to keep churning out endless piles of hammered dogshit with impunity.

I don’t know what that is supposed to mean but read the Reddit thread and RT reviews

I played the games and watched some of the movies that I kind of enjoyed when intoxicated.

This show is straight fricking trash and an embarrassment even by RE tv/movie standars

I made it half way through the second episode. It's just bad. All around bad.

I’m glad another fan base is seeing what we Halo fans were complaining about

Another beloved property hijacked and reskinned with some shitty writer’s “take”

The first Silent Hill movie wasn't that bad

On the third episode of this RE series and I agree with pretty much everyone else...it's bad.
