It really is one of the most bizarre entertainment phenomenons I've ever seen.
There's an irrationality about it that is purely political. Once some on the right began critiquing elements of the Disney SW movies politically, the people on the other side of the political spectrum completely lost their sanity.
At that point the quality of the movies was irrelevant. Liking or disliking the new Star Wars movies became a purity test. Somehow to them propping these POS movies up is somehow a referendum on Drumpf or something.
I understand taste is subjective but I don't even believe most of these people particularly like the the movies. They just feel that they can't say anything bad about them or it's a betrayal of their political ideals.

They take joy in destroying things you love.
If you are excited about anything they show up and rip they joy out of it and then laugh at your sadness because they are so hollow and confused and miserable they demand the world changes to suit their misery rather than trying to find happiness.
It's a deeply sad but morbidly interesting sickness that afflicts these poor lost people.

Once the “far right” “criticizes” something, it activates some beacon in the SJW Twitter verse that causes staunch and immediate retaliation of the criticism.
From there it just becomes a back and forth of never ending bullshite, and the actual critics of the shitty movie never get brought up
Spoiler; the new Ghostbusters and TLJ were both shitty and it has nothing to do with it having female leads. Blank Panther was very average and it had nothing to do with the race of the actors

Yep, because the Chinese are smart enough to see this trilogy is garbage. These only make money because of nostalgia and people bringing their kids in the English speaking countries.
