The teaser trailer dropped for Remarkably Bright Creatures today. Based on the book by Shelby Van Pelt. Can't wait for this one (the book has been one of my favorites over the last couple of years). Starring Sally Field, Lewis Pullman, and Alfred Molina (voice of Marcellus).

I didn't know that was happening. I loved the book, reminded me of Frederik Backmans style.

Didn't know there was a movie but I'm excited for it. The book was great.

I don’t know where they shot this at but I would pick up and move there tomorrow.
Also I watched this on a dark, gloomy, overcast, somewhat chilly for this time of year Saturday morning a few weeks ago and it was best how the weather outside kind of matched the tone and setting of the film

British Columbia (more specifically around Vancouver). And I agree.
Thought they did a really good job adapting the book to screen. Really enjoyed it.

Pretty good movie with a bunch of moving parts and Sally Fields was wonderful in this.

Can't bring myself to eat octopus.

I liked the book, but it was sooooo slow to get going. It wasn't till about halfway through that I wasn't having to force myself to read it. I hope Sally Fields can bring a lot to the role, because I much prefer the octopus to any of the humans in the book. More Marcellus and way less of everyone else.

We watched this last weekend. Very good film. Sally Field was excellent as usual and it's amazing how much Lewis Pullman looks like his dad (yeah go figure). I would have bet big that the voice of Marcellus was Hector Elizondo and was very surprised to learn it was Alfred Molina
