Recommendation about how to watch Buffy & Angel TV series

Should I just watch the entire Buffy series, then Angel? Is there a preferred way other than that to watch them?
TIA
TIA

To keep it simple, you could watch all of Buffy then all of Angel, and it would not be a significant drop off in quality.
There is some crossover, but not to the point where it is required to intermix the two.

There is one episode where SMG was on Angel for an episode that they reference a tad (S5 maybe?). You won't get the reference, but it is not really going to take away anything more than 2 minutes of confusion.

I agree with Buffy then Angel being the order. One thing to keep in mind though is that season 1 of Buffy is not as good as the rest. If you're watching it and wondering how people liked it so much, just power through. Once you get to season 2 it finds it's footing.

You'd probably be ok just watching all of Buffy then all of Angel. There's a couple of characters that cross over a few times, but there's usually enough context to clue you in to what's going on.
Other options would be to watch Buffy up until Angel spins off, then watch a season of Buffy then a season of Angel. It can be a little jarring if you finish the final season of Buffy then jump back to the first season of Angel.

I was, and still am, a huge Buffy fan. SMG deserved an Emmy or Golden Globe for her work. On the surface, it was a sometimes silly, sometimes scary, show aimed primarily at teens and young adults. If you look closer, you can see how well-written and well-acted the show was, and how it was brave enough to tackle some issues that lots of young people face, particularly teenagers.
You can't beat "Once More, With Feeling."

I’m just about done with season 1, and absolutely love it. Looking forward to season 2.
I will say this though...aesthetics aside, I absolutely loathe Cordelia. Holy shite, she’s the embodiment of exactly what I wouldn’t my daughters to become.

Although my favorite character development is Wesley's (on Angel).

I have never seen Buffy and have watched Angel 3-4 times through.
I feel like I had complete grasp on the story.

She looks fantastic naked though.

Technically, I think the order is as follows:
Buffy S1 -3
Buffy S4 runs concurrently with Angel S1 (so ep of Buffy, ep of Angel).
Buffy S5 with Angel S2.
Though there's crossovers occasionally after that, Buffy moved to CW after S5 so they are less frequent (I can think of one in S6, a few in S7).
Then Angel runs through S5 without Buffy at all.
Great shows; think I ended up liking Angel more than Buffy as a whole when it was all said and done, but Buffy S2 & S3 are probably my favorites.

As a character, yes. But Jesus that woman is fine . . .

The writers do a good job with her character arc. I enjoy a story where a villain has the chance to redeem himself/herself.

I'd say 2 already had some good ones before that point. "School Hard," "Halloween," and "Lie to Me" are great episodes of the show.
Favorite Angel season would also be season 2; but I think season 5 did a really great job closing that show out.

You'll hardly recognize her, character wise, by the end of her story. Her and Wesley end up having some of the more impressive character arcs you'll see.

I’m happy to hear that, one of the most valued traits I look for in a series is character development. And, because Cordelia is on her way to being one of my most hated characters, and I would hate for anyone to dethrone Bill Rawls from The Wire
Being introduced to Spike now...
