I haven't seen the last 15 minutes of the show yet, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. All of the guys seem relatively easygoing, and so does Arielle. No one nearly as bad as Frank or Nia although the chick from West Virginia would be a nightmare to live with as a roommate.
The ratings were a disaster. The New Orleans and Vegas II seasons were getting about 2 million people to tune in each week. This got about 940,000 people. I know that the +3 and +7 ratings are much more important, but it's still way off from those good days.
As a comparison, St. Thomas started with 1.2 million (and tanked afterwards) while Portland debuted at 720K and improved throughout the year. The next 2 episodes should be crucial in determining if we get beyond Season 30.

I think they already said they were stopping after season 30. This show is still fairly cheap to produce and there's Subway product placement everywhere so its not too bad.

Forget that matchmaker show. Just get Doug and Mystery together. 100 episodes and a movie.

I stopped watching after 10 minutes. It's just not entertaining for me. So bad

I had such low expectations that I almost didn't record the show.
I was pleasantly surprised, at least with the first episode and the format for the next 3-4 episodes.
The guys are all reasonably likable, as is the black lesbian model. There's only one train wreck, and she just seems like a spoiled girl from a small town rather than a contrived gold digger whose "book" is about poking holes in Arron Afflalo's condoms so maybe you can get a solid 18 year annuity.
The chubby blonde is kind of like Robin from San Diego, and of course, Doug was the MVP of the show.
It wasn't that bad. I do think I'll hate the Ex-Plosion part of the show though

Biggest problem I had was the editing. The whole "That night" and "After Lunch" captions was beyond annoying.

I will watch the entire season because of entertainment value alone.
Like I previously said, it's a great change up from the bullshite political, gay rights, racism seasons where MTV tries to pair like two gay dudes, a country person, virgin and a white supremacist together and see where it goes.
All of the people seem easygoing and just get fricked and fricked up.
Basically the challenge without the competition and backstabbing.

Just watched. They have totally just broken down the 4th and wall and tossed it to the curb. It's just not the same show at all anymore. Call me in a few months when the challenge is back on.

I don't think she is bad looking but don't see anything about her. She's very very average IMO. Covered in Tats and the fact that she is obviously nuts is a no go for me

I thought the first episode was really solid, it was a huge step above the shite we have gotten the past few seasons.
I have not watched last night's, however.
