Think about it:

If she told the truth about Jeoffry and Arya

Or

Kept her fricking dumbassed mouth shut about Ned's plans to get her and Arya out of King's Landing

The North/South War could have been avoided.

What if Ned had just kept his mouth shut and bent the knee?

What if Cat doesn't capture Tyrion?

What if Robert didn't go hunting?

What if Ned hadn't trusted Littlefinger?

What if, man? What. If?

There are solid reasons for all of your "ifs".

Sansa's are solely the result of her being a dumbass, petulant count.

How can you be petulant when you ARE a child? Sansa was just incredibly naive

The biggest reason this could have been avoided is if Cat sent Roddrick to pass along the attack on Bran instead of going herself.

She never kidnaps Tyrion unless it is in Winterfell, and if she does, Winterfell keeps quiet and it never gets out.

The 2nd biggest is if Ned doesn't tell Cersei he knows she fricks her brother. The King is dead, the Starks pack up and go home.

frick the Lannisters.
