In the first two Star Wars movies (Episodes IV and V), there were only two lightsaber colors. The Jedi used blue lightsabers, while Darth Vader used a red lightsaber. The last movie in the original trilogy, "Return of the Jedi", introduced the green lightsaber. The green lightsaber was used in this movie because a blue lightsaber didn't contrast enough against the blue sky in the fighting scenes on Tattoine.
In the prequel trilogy, both blue and green lightsabers were used by the Jedi equally. The exception is the purple lightsaber used by Mace Windu. This uniquely colored lightsaber was a request from Samuel L. Jackson, in order for him to accept the part as Mace Windu.

Lenny Montana, the actor who played Luca Brasi in The Godfather actually worked as an enforcer for the Columbo crime family in the 1960's. He was said to have tied kerosene soaked tampons to the tails of mice and lit them as they were released in building s to start fires.

It was his ties to the crime family that got him the part in the movie since the crime family was one of the strongest opponents of the film until their numerous concessions were granted. During filming of The Godfather, he was so nervous about his scene with Brando, that he constantly rehearsed his lines. In his scene with Brando, he froze and stumbled over his lines. Coppolo liked these authentic scenes so much, he re-wrote the script to feature both of these moments to add to the aura of Don Corleone.

I don't think its Ledger from looking at that picture IMO, but I can see how the confusion was made.

Jax is gay.

Actually, no he's not. I know I read that somewhere, but wikipedia says he's married.

Edited again: but OMG he's the dude from Green Street Hooligans. My wife is going to swoon when I tell her that.

In Monty Python and the Holy Grail they used coconuts because they literally could not afford to use horses. The budget for the movie was unbelievably tiny.

He played in the British version of Queer as folks. Spends a good deal of his air time with other men's tongues in his mouth. That's gay enough for me to call him gay. Not the tough guy he plays on SOA.

The budget was something around £200,000 and was financed by several big name British rock groups - Pink Floyd and Led Zepplin come to mind. Life of Brian was almost entirely finaced by George Harrison.

Also, most of the castle exterior scenes were either the same castle shot from various angles, or cardboard models held up against the sky (hence the "It's only a model" at the end of the Camelot musical piece).
