For all you of have seen Game of Thrones and witnessed this character, I have to ask: Is Ramsay Snow (Bolton) the most sadistic, twisted SOB in the history of television? Besides being apparently psychotic, the man enjoys torturing people and breaking their will, flaying (skinning) people alive, having a total disregard for human life, not to mention having his dogs tear one of his victims to shreds. He not only tortures Theon, but plays mind games with him that makes Theon like a "pet" to him, making him less than human. I used to think Joffrey was the most evil character in this show, but Ramsay definitely has him beat. What do y'all think?

Ramsay takes shite to another level because, unlike Joffrey, he really wants to partake in the terror he causes.

While he's a backstory character that's been mentioned several times on the show, Mad King Aerys probably gives him a run for his money. Hopefully at some point we'll get to see him on TV or on screen if they're legitimately talking about doing a movie.

Theon deserves every single thing that happens to him after he betrayed the Starks and Winterfell

Ramsay is doing Gods work IMO

I have a feeling that Littlefinger is the most evil character in the show. He's just more clever than Ramsay and far more so than Joffrey to where he doesn't openly show his savage nature underneath. And unlike Ramsay and Joffrey, I think he does know right from wrong, and gleefully goes against his own moral compass.

You have to admit though, what happened to Theon is probably the worst thing that can happen to a human being, a fate far worse than death. Theon was tortured in every way possible to the point where he literally lost his mind and became Ramsay's puppet. He lost his will, his personality, his ambitions, everything. Theon was a traitor, but if you think about it, was he ever 100% aligned with the Starks? He was technically their prisoner, as he was from the Iron Islands. He never really felt accepted by the Starks, and I think he turned on them to appease his father, who obviously doesn't love Theon.

So, despite what Theon did, I still think that what happened to him was a far worse punishment than what he deserved.

Yeah, it's why I hate Joffrey much more than Ramsay. Joffrey is just a pussy who wouldn't be a slight threat without his army. Ramsay on the other hand is resourceful, physically vicious, and certainly a threat when he has no back-up. There's something strangely enduring about him, and he completely earned his position.

I have to say, I think the worst way a person can die is getting skinned alive. Just the thought of having your skin removed... man, it sends shudders down my spine.

I wouldn't say he never felt accepted by the Starks. When he first returns to the Iron Islands, and talks to his father again, you can tell he feels some sense of loyalty to them and considers them like family. But he definitely turns on them to appease his father. I think he, like many others, wanted power and knew that the only way to get it was to fully commit to the Iron Islands. That way he could someday become the Lord of the Islands whereas with the Starks he would never really be able to attain true power.

This is the first time Ramsay has been described as "Strangely Enduring"

Don't forget the Mountain, an unthinking, unfeeling killing machine.

The Mountain is a pawn in the Game of Thrones. He's probably the strongest pawn but he hasn't any brains to go along with it. The thinkers are far deadlier than the Mountain can ever be. Thinkers like Littlefinger and Ramsay.

Ramsay does his own dirty work which I give him credit for. He's sadistic, cruel, and evil but oddly entertaining at times. Joffrey is a huge coward and has other people do his dirty work the majority of the time.

I think Roose is worst than Ramsey. Anyone ever read how Ramsay was conceived?

No technically about it, Theon was a prisoner. Granted he had a better life with the Starks than with the Greyjoys, but he would never be accepted as a high born.

The fact that his father didn't accept him back with open arms being that he was the only living Greyjoy male heir, makes his father a contender for most evil.
