That's pretty retarded. 90% of SW fans will tell you that Empire was great. However you're entitled to your opinion even if it's shite.

Saw this thread 6 months ago, and sat the kids down for their first SW viewing. We watched 4, 5, 1(wife insisted), 2, 3, 6.
All the surprises stayed intact this way, and the series ends properly with the redemption of Anakin.

When you show this to your kids, make sure to watch their reaction to Vader telling Luke the truth about his father. I swear, my daughter was

I have heard the ideal order is 4, 5, 2, 3 and 6. Skip 1 entirely.

I honestly have no idea how people can watch Attack of the Clones more than once.

It is terrible. Worse than PM and that is saying a lot.

Honestly the prequels aren't that bad if you can get over the parts that offend you.

I'm going to watch it tomorrow in episode order and then production order a month later and reflect.

To the OP; production order is recommended, not episode order.

When Anakin and Padme have their little ride the space cows and roll in the grass scene, I wanted to fricking puke.

I think we may just go production order. I think we can all agree that PM is the one that's the least important to the story.

I really think if everyone went back and watched 1-3 again they would realize that 2 was the worst one by far.

Yea well, in the Star Wars universe, love stories should consist of nothing more than cinnamon roll earmuffs, a scruffy looking nerf herder, carbonite, and one well oiled robotic hand.

Empire is by far my favorite movie an is universally hailed as not only the best Star Wars film but as one of the best movies period. I think empire had it ranked at 3. All of this is subjective though and I think it comes down to personal taste, but it is better than "good"

But yeah 2 is just fricking the worst thing ever made in the history I mankind. It's so bad that I might think AIDS is better. It's the only movie ill shite on with all of the vitriolic hate one would expect from the Internet.

New Hope
Empire
There's only one return and it ain't of the king, it's of the Jedi

Then the prequals.
Maybe.
Some pros and cons:
Conn number 1: the acting of HC
Pro: Definitely worth staring at Portman for a while.
Con : The big eared annoying shite demon clown known as jar jar is unwatchable.
Pro: Any movie with Samuel Jackson is watchable
Con: you were like a brother to me
Pro: the storyline of the transformation of senator to chancellor to emperor is cool
Con: Noooooooooooo
Pro: Liam Neeson
Con: "comic relief driods"
