The only thing that annoys me about it is them mixing in the movies and shows that come with the service with the movies that don’t. I know the little Prime ribbon is there. It’s just a pain in the arse.

If you're talking about things like old sitcoms and old game shows from the 70s and 80s and Dean Martin Roasts, that's what I like best about Prime's streaming service.

Netflix's selection of classic movies and tv shows is pathetic.

You have to add Channels to Prime.

Like Cinemax, Starz, AMC, Paramount, etc.

The Amazon layout is being criticized but I find it better than almost all of the native apps for these channels.

The AMC+ app is godforsaken. Can't even search on it effectively.

You can search for just about anything on Prime and it will tell you where you can sub to watch it or rent/buy it. No other service is as usable that I've experienced.

I will say that Amazon must have cut a deal for the penny bin of streaming content, because if you dig deep enough into their library you'll find stuff that probably isn't even straight to DVD quality. But the top end is fine. They don't have the best original content, but they are solidly in the race.

I have a soft spot for found footage and prime is a gold min for cheap FF movies

If you haven’t used Amazon Music in a while, don’t bother. Everything is now shuffled. All albums, singles… unless you pay an extra $9 a month over your original Prime fee.

It was a relief that so many channels were under one umbrella. Never had a problem with Prime's layout and search function.

Had Showtime and HBO on Prime but had to get HBO Max when they left. Preferred the layout and search when HBO was on Prime.

Yea I said I was thinking about it. Thanks to your hotshot response, you have made me decide to cancel it. Thanks for your worthy input on this discussion board about movies and tv. So glad you chimed in!

Had unlimited music plan which was great but cancelled it because the included option seemed fine.

But yeah...Alexa play Aerosmith and you'll get an Aerosmith song and then suddenly Crosby, Stills and Nash.

Or worse, sometimes you just get samples of songs.

The format is garbage, but the library is massive and X-Ray is probably one of my favorite features in streaming.

I will say that the NFL managed to give them an absolute garbage slate of games. NFL won that deal.

I mean so is HBO Max. Both layouts need major overhauls.

Prime is just the basic platform to bundle all your streaming services into one place.

I do all of my channels to Apple+. I had a few on Amazon but cancelled them because Apple's interface is just so much better.
