This deserves its own thread.
Here's the quandry (for me); how do I choose between a hottie (Beckinsale in Van Helsing) vs. a truly great actress (Kathy Bates in Misery) who is not remotely attractive.
I think I'm going to have to make this a combination of movies I've enjoyed her in plus hottness (and the fact she's an Objectivist fan and not the typical hollywood bleeding liberal...)
