Breaking Bad. I get why some people can like it but to act like it's one of the greatest shows ever just befuddles me.

This. If they were really alphas, they'd be in another line of work. Advertising? Give me a break.

If this board had a motto, this would be the exact opposite

quote:

TV shows are really subjective. There aren't many shows that have something for everyone.

Never could get into Reno 911, despite being a huge fan of The State.

The Simpsons just sucks as a show, idk why it's so popular, the only reason I can guess is because it came out before much better edgy adult-oriented animated shows came out.

Watched the first season of The Sopranos and never really felt compelled to keep going.

The Walking Dead sucks arse and so does everyone who insists on acting like it's groundbreaking tv.

Mad Men.... it's like whoever was running the show realized they had an incredible cast and then decided to just coast on their performances. Show is boring as hell.

Walking Dead is an obvious pick
Friday Night Lights - I enjoyed it, but it never measured up after season 1
Sopranos, although I haven't finished it

I agree with this. I made it through 9 episodes, and wasn't interested in continuing. To be fair though, I did the same with Battlestar Galactica, then decided to continue later on. Now, it's one of favorite series. I may give Mad Men another chance.

I legitimately cannot even sympathize with this statement. It's like something a robot whose main function is overt criticism would say.

I think Mad Men is going to be the overall answer on this board.
