I’ve watched a few of both, but got sidetracked on each of them at some point. Now it’s time to sit down and binge. Without spoiling please, which of the two was better in your opinion?

Love both lf these shows. The Wire is better and probably my personal GOAT. But Peaky Blinders is just a fun as hell show to watch. Cant go wrong either way.

Haven't seen Peaky Blinders. I've watched The Wire 4 or 5 times now, and would watch again.

As of now The Wire, but Peaky isn’t done yet either. When it’s all said and done, my opinion may change.

The Wire, every storyline in the Wire is exciting and interesting. Some of the Peaky Blinders story lines drag in later seasons Anything with Paulies love life, Arthur’s wife, Tom and his opium dreams

Honestly Peaky Blinders has started to get boring

I would say, between these shows, it really depends on what you are looking for.

One is a shoot em up, action-packed period piece with gratuitous debauchery and violence.

The other is more of a slow burn, that gives you a realistic look into inner-city America, and the unfortunate cycles of self/system-inflicted abuse and depravity that happen there. Also a realistic look into how inner-city detective/police life/work goes.

Both have excellent acting and directing, and both are incredible.

I found the newspaper story very boring and the serial killer thing was ridiculous.
