Watched last night. . .
Want my money and my time back.
It was like a movie that wanted to be a funny version of Alpha Dogs, but just failed all around.
What am I missing in this movie that other people seemed to enjoy?
Also, this is the first character Rock has done that I not only did not enjoy. . .but I thought the character's arc was a jumbled mess. The decline did not follow, nor did the reversal.
It was just bad. Tony Shaloub was the best character in the movie. . .but he is the biggest underutilized gem in Tinseltown, if you ask me.
Am I off base here? The movie just didn't work, imho. Is the problem me?

Ahhh, another internet movie snob.
Take a cue from the rest of us who don't have a stick up our asses. Don't take yourself or any movie too seriously and you might actually find yourself having a good time.

I'm no snob, far from it.
I like a wide range of flicks.
This one just missed in every way.

I agree with you. I like both the rock and mark walberg movies but this one sucked. It's had a couple funny lines but it was just meh

Cost me $1.30 at Redbox. I got my money's worth so I'm not complaining.

It's a true story. The funniest part to me was that these idiots thought they'd get away with it.

I liked it. It was bizarre and I laughed a lot. I do see where some might not like it, though.

I didn't even make it through that movie. Fell asleep halfway through and didn't care to finish it.
