Kevin O'Shea was clearly a bit overrated as a coach. Sure, he put together an all star team of the best kids (minus Junior and Ice Box) in Urbania. But c'mon the guy is hosting a tackling practice clinic inside his house, and uses his trophy wife to hold the couch cushion, with her back against the second floor window? How did you really think that was gonna turn out Coach O'Shea? Cmon man!

Pretty sure his parents got him out if that racist ohio town and moved to newport news,va..where he would shine and would later get a scholarship to Virginia Tech. True story...went to a Warren Moon's "Shoot for the Moon" QB camp in the summer of 98 in Virginia Beach and ran into that kid out in the parking lot. Saw him walking with his mother back to their Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer edition fwiw, and noticed him laughing at their pit bull clawing at the rolled up windows of the car. Thought that was pretty screwed up.

I always thought that ending was funny, yeah lets combine teams again and all those kids that played on the little Giants will just sit the bench again, with the exception of the Ice Box and Junior

I believe the gas station was full service though. It was probably a nostalgia thing with people. They appreciated a full service station even if it looked completely shitty compared to the new do it yourself stations.

of course he was poor, dude drove a freaking go kart around town (although that go kart helped him beat Kevin to Spike's house. Kevin had to wait out the railroad crossing baracade in his convertible while Danny just blazed on through)
