This season was terrible
Also how much gold did they really get? Didn’t look like much maybe 20lbs?
That’s only ~600k certainly not enough to set up that many people for life plus how many different ways they had to split it?
Show used to be stupid fun but this season was too much

Yup loved the first 2 seasons, with the first being the best, but I don't need a season 4 after this ending. Could have done a 5 minute jump ahead 10 years and called it a day.
The drama that made it fun was the Kooks vs Pogues, some random Indian guy with a Caribbean accent villain didn't hit the same, you know.

Had the same thought, even Googled the price of gold to make sure I wasn't crazy. I assume they led an expedition back with mining equipment and stuff but seems like the Venezuelan government would be quick to confiscated everything. Assuming any money they made from it came from book deals and selling the rights to their story.

It’s a tv show. And I enjoyed this season. Finally finished it up. It’s like el dorado doesn’t exist and you are worried about what the actual weight of the gold they got from a made up place.

Finally finished season 3. I enjoyed it more than season 2. It's not great but entertaining. Have a spoiler question:

When Sarah says she "hooked up" with Topper, is she saying she slept with him? It didn't seem like that's what happened while viewing, but what a hoe. Thought she just fell asleep next to him/ maybe made out with him. They very quickly jumped past the fact that she cheated if that's what happened.

I just finished it. That felt like a finale. How much gold did they get? Just what John B got in the bag? What happened to all of that gold from Season 1?
