Other than the obvious, what clichés really bother you?

I was just sitting here thinking how I hate it when movie badasses take a handful of pills and chew them up before swallowing them. Does it make them more badass that they don't have to take a pill with water or hide it in a pudding cup?
Like in ballers when the rock takes a handful of Vicodin and chews them up. Do people really do this?

I Chew pills up a little bit sometimes because they hit you quicker but I don't just swallow them. I chase um' with some water or something.
-Never mixing whiskey with anything. (I never see people mix their whiskey in movies)

Not sure I've ever seen that. Is it a cliché if it hardly ever happens?

One of biggest grips with EVERY movie and TV show I've ever seen is the way people get over hangovers. People will stay out drinking until 5 am, and when they wake up of course they act all groggy and have a headache and all. But then they drink some water and they're off racing to the next adventure or carryign on with their day.
No, hollywood, that is not how it goes. When people drink as much and as long as they do in the movies, the next day they aren't doing anythign but laying on the couch watching netflix and drinking powerade. But of course that'd make for a lame movie, so I get it...it still just bothers me.

People getting pissed off and throwing down cash to pay for their drinks/dinner as they storm out.
Just once I'd like for the bartender to say, "Sir, that's a ten. You've got a twenty dollar bar tab."

That surprises me. It seems fairly common to me.

in a race, where the protagonist is all of a sudden going faster than everyone and catching up to the leader (antagonist) and as soon as he catches up they all of a sudden are now going the same speed after going 10x as fast just a second earlier

Speaking of bars, I always found it weird when people order "beer" or "the usual." When a cop goes into a person's home to talk them and the person offers a drink, the cop will take the drink but never drink it, maybe a sip at most.

Constantly moving the steering wheel in a car when driving straight

water dilutes the potency and chewing them up gets you pain relief faster

Then why do most pills say to swallow them whole instead of chewing them up?
I'm not doubting you, it's logical, I'm just curious.

For that matter, most bars expect payment up front. Movie bars let errbody run a tab.

I guess it's a cliche, but the morning after a guy and girl hook up, and one wakes up realizing their late for work or something and the frantic getting dressed while trying to piece together the night before. Then they just roll straight to wherever they had to be in the clothes from the night before and look no worse for the wear.

On a similar note, how about people that have sex then just roll over after and go to sleep. Yeah right.

There's always a parking spot in front of where they are going.
