SoSo has a nice set. I just finished episode 10 this season is better than 1 so far. Had no idea Lorna was legit crazy

About halfway through season 2..this season is way more entertaining imo. The new dynamic of the black chick clique is great, and the flashbacks of the lesser role characters is an excellent touch. The new prisoner that never shuts up is fine. The scissor scene had me dying laughing breh..

I think this season was way better than season 1. Loved the ending. Will be a long wait for season 3.

I thought it was a good season. Definitely liked the dark buildup leading toward the finale. Kind of like last seasons Christmas buildup with Pennsatuckey and her Jesus posse vs Piper.
Just some things this season kinda threw me for loop. Thought they were almost too ridiculous...
Warning Spoilers:
Bringing back Pornstache was far fetched to me. I know his probation was over but wasn't he suspended for having sex with an inmate? Seems absolutely ridiculous to bring him back as a CO much less the same facility with that women at it.
Larry and Piper's best friend falling in love. Good God. Find something a little better than that. The Larry storyline already sucked enough last season.At least they withheld the most of his publishing life out of this season.
I wish I would have payed attention to the details of the first episode in which Piper committee perjury and then Alex went back on her word basically negating what Piper said. I'm sure they didn't give exact details, but it strikes me that it would have been obvious to the court that Alex and Pipers testimony would have been so conflicting that one of them would have had committed perjury. However, the show just dismisses that whole issue entirely like it never happened. Sure, Piper gets years in jail for being the "bagman" for Alex but doesn't get anything for lying under oath in a criminal prosecution...? Okay then.
The final scene was great closure and I'm actually happy it happened because I hated V. I don't hate all "villains" but damn she pissed me off the way she manipulated everyone in that prison. However, the means in which it ended is laughable.
Also, the Daya and Bennett storyline is a waste.
Pros of this season:
The development of Caputo as a very likable character was great. The scene where Figueroa went down on him was A+.
I really like the Hispanic family as a whole. Mendoza is a badass with the other two younger ones being the jokesters of the crew it's actually enjoyable to watch anything they're dealing with IMO. One of them is smokin.
Officer O'Niel (the fat one) is hilarious. Whatever that guy does or says is golden. The mini-banjo scene was great.
Less Alex made the overall acting on the show better just by her lack of screen time.
Big Pennsatuckey fan. She's even better wish a fresh set of chompers. Her and Healy are eventually gonna get it on.
Morello and SoSo are all good in book. Anytime they're on screen, I'm good.

Finished ep. 10 last night.
A great season. Way better than last season.
The only storyline I really don't care for is the guard/inmate baby story.

They played more to what makes premium cable, premium cable, Boobs and Blood. While this made the show darker and edgier, it also took away some of what was enjoyable about season 1. Season 2 just wasn't as fun for me. The enjoyable story lines from the quirky supporting characters that made you laugh were replaced by more serious story lines that made you wish a bitch would get shanked. It wasn't terrible, just different in a way I liked less but others might like more.

We've got to episode 7 so far. Season 2 started out reeaalllyyy slow, IMO. It's starting to pick up a little, but to this point season 1 has been far greater. To us.
