I assumed b/c he'd had his surgery already and no longer had a penis. Can't send someone to a male prison with a vag or whatever it is that transgender people have.

Good show, loved how they had Crazy Eyes quoting Shakespeare when they were trying to scare the kids straight.

I honestly thought that was Will Smiths son playing a chick. My wife and I argued the point until I just googled

Just an FYI, there are rumors that Laura Prepon (Alex) is leaving the show and will only do a few episodes next season because she was only under contract for one season. I'm not buying this. NetFlix has denied the rumors saying nothing is finalized on season 2 yet and Prepon has been trying and failing to find a new show since That 70's Show ended. No way she walks away from a lead role on a hit show after all of her other attempts got quick cancellations. This is her agent doing his job and trying to maximize leverage to get more money.

I'd be totally fine if she walked. Far more interesting and funny things going on with the characters who had no connection to Piper prior to prison.

And I hope Jason Biggs is permanently gone from the show.

But who would be there to be the guy with awkward parent and masturbation scenes in showbiz?

Never thought she was. Laura Prepon, however plays a character who had a previous connection to Piper before Piper went to prison (namely, her ex lover/drug dealer). That character, along with Jason Biggs and PIper's parents, would be welcome subtractions from the show - in my opinion.

Perhaps it's because Piper became a much less sympathetic character as the story progressed, but by the end of the season I found everything on the outside of prison was a real detraction to the far more interesting story occurring inside the prison. I no longer really care about the show as Piper's story; I find much more enjoyment visiting with the other inmates and the guards.
