The story lines are interesting enough and the cgi is pretty good. The acting leaves a lot to be desired, especially the lead, his offscreen monologues at the end of episodes are cringe worthy. I'll stick with it awhile longer but I'm a nerd. Maybe I would enjoy it more if I knew more about the comic, I have zero comic knowledge of The Flash.

i have zero comic knowledge on everything, but I'm starting to get into all the DC/Marvel stuff. I like watching the episodes and coming back to read the in game threads to see the comic book guys take on everything

This is on CW. Monologues are here to stay.

Not as much as Arrow, but it's good.

agreed. Arrow didnt start off as great as it is now. it took it about midway through the first season to really find itself and get going.

i expect the same with the flash.

I like it. The villains have been entertaining, hope they keep that up.

One thing I didn't expect was Barry to be such a wimp. He needs to toughen up

I like it more than Arrow, but I still love Arrow.

I'm still preferring the CW Superhero shows to FOX, NBC, and ABC.

It's better than god awful Gotham and terrible Agents of Shield.

I agree with Gotham, but AoS is badass. Season 1 was boring until the events of Captain America 2 were included.

I'm really liking the Flash so far. It's slightly better than Arrow. I cant wait until the crossover episodes in December. Plus, Felicity is going to be on the Flash tonight so that's a big plus.

I like it simply because the show features actual super powers from the very beginning and in every episode. Not just people doing a lot of karate moves. But I've always been a sucker for actual super powers on TV or at the movies.

I like Arrow better now. But I like Flash better than I did Arrow at this point in Season 1.

The Flash (as Barry Allen) ultimately becomes (arguably) the strongest hero in the entire DC universe

The Flash.
Back in the early 1960s, I was a major DC comic freak. I bought every one in sight. And Flash was my absolute fave DC superhero, followed by GL, then probably Superman, or Aquaman, or Atom or Hawkman and Batman.... but Wonder Woman, meh. I think Batman had the best villains...

The Flash seemed like such an action-filled comic in those days, but on modern tv it seems less so. Maybe I've grown up some? Plus maybe I've drifted closer to the edge of the Marvel universe on the big screen in recent years. However, that being said, I've totally liked almost every Batman movie, from Michael Keaton forward. And I really love Arrow on CW (never really got deep into his comics way back when).

All this is to say that for me, school's out on The Flash. I hope to like it better as the season progresses, just for old time's sake.

If you don't like The Flash then you probably hate puppies, hamburgers, and the American flag; and thus are probably borderline communist...or at least socialist.

I've seen people rationalizing that it's a good show, but "badass" is a new one.

The comic legend? The new show? The actor? Which one? You seem to have a lot riding on this. I want to choose correctly.
