For people just starting an Best Picture Oscars binge, I always recommend starting in the mid 70s with One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.

Best Picture
Best Actor
Best Actress
Best Screenplay
Best Director

It’s a good well-rounded gauge of what you should expect from a Best Picture winner and can help you recognize the weaker years.
