The only movie that gives me the chills every single time I watch the last 20 minutes. Hell, ive shed a few tears when all the men were being buried at the end.

Denzel gets to be a badass in every film he does but Morgan "God" Freeman dressing his arse down then bitchslapping him was one of the most satisfying moments in the history of film to me. I won't repeat his nail in the coffin line because of muh N-word, but ya'll know what I'm talking about.

For those who downvoted me, I'd like to see you give me a better Civil War movie that focuses on a specific battle or the conflict as a whole.

I’ve never seen glory, and while I’m sure some of you legit like it, but the virtue signaling in this thread is a bit over done.

Can’t the OP just say, “Glory is a great movie”. Not “Glory is the best civil war movie ever and if you downvote me it must be because you are racist”?

Shenandoah isn't really a war film though. It's more Cold Mountain than it is Glory. It takes place almost entirely on the home front.
