I find his character extremely interesting for sure. He's owning the show

What's the deal with the legal assistant? I must have spaced out for a moment because I don't remember that.
she pops up and says she has the depositions and the judge says that it has to go to woody, and they review them in the interrogation room. obvious that they're fricking. and just an fyi, no depos in criminal shite in LA

She came in just for a minute and Harrelson jumped up and escorted her to another room. They both had that deer in headlights look.

1995, easy to fake a drug test.
Lets just take the provincial crap out of it. That was some damn good TV tonight.

i agree, but MM's character needs to be more human and realistic

As a matter fact we know he was using before te bar.
He chugged a bottle of cough syrup on the way to the bar. He may not have been drinking but he wasn't sober that's for sure

Writers seem to have done their homework. Recognized a few locations. The coroners office in the abandoned parking lot was shot on Jeffeson Hwy/Labarre Road right around corner from where I work in Jefferson.
That's the only thing that bothered me other than the terrible attempt at a coonass accent by the old man in the yard telling them about the Fontenots
A coroner office in an abandoned strip mall. That was ridiculous

I agree. He annoyed me tonight. He was way too far out there. And his look didn't match his personality.
Loved the show though.

he said the combination of things that day led him to falling off the wagon in the flash forward

We're dug tests even common practice in the late 80s early nineties? I really have no idea I'm too young to know

bro LSP has a VERY intense procedure to get hired on. you don't just take a piss test
plus it's more than just the drugs. no person with his social issues would be promoted to detective, let alone hired on by another agency

There's a difference in clean and sober.
He may have been clean but he certainly wasn't sober. I havey doubts that he was even clean but that's not the point
