Anyway, I am not a harsh critic of this show but tonight made me turn a corner for sure. It was just cheap and manipulative and showed no respect for the audience or for good writing.

It just pissed me off.

I'm tired of the same crap. Watching the episodes isn't exciting anymore.

I'm holding out hope that Negan can save the show. If Rick and the gang figure out a way out of this predicament then the show's over.

We need more mystery and uncertainty. We need Negan to break this gang up so the show can go about telling the story of Rick and Carl.

What do you know, it ended with a cliffhanger. OP should be banned.

So, who does everything think Lucille fricked? (As a comic reader, I won't give my guess)

The show really has become repetitive.

I'd almost rather watch them learn how to build a civilization again from scratch then constantly fight the same fights against groups of different names.

They've already made it out of this particular predicament seeing as Negan has stated he is only killing one of them. They rest are free to go.

If you were Negan, why would you leave Rick alive? I guess Negan believes he can keep Rick in check, but Rick is still dangerous.

If I was Negan, I'd take down Rick, cut off the head. Alexandria can't rebel without a leader.

I think it was Eugene hence why him giving instructions to Rick on how to make bullets is so important. Also him "taking it like a champ" would somewhat redeem him for being a pussy most of the time.

I think the negan/saviors story is facinating
like he said, they are the new world order
all this time rick thought he had a level playing field and he just found out it was just a matter of time until negan got around to him

I want to know how they operate and how they got where they are
They are much more of an organization than rick could ever hope to be at this point and are in much more control of their circumstance

The Saviours are the eqivolent of Glenn and the dumpster. There is no plausible scenario in which Rick's crew can overcome them without it smelling like bullshite.

Maybe the 101st Airborne shows up on Rick's side.

Rick was over confident and paid for it. But Negan is way way underestimating Rick.

I'm a big fan, but this didn't do anything for me except for the last 10 minutes. It just dragged on and on and didn't make any intelligent sense for what Rick and the crew were doing.

m

There is merit in that. He and Abraham said their goodbyes. Many are thinking Abe. Could be Eugene.

He knows their group needs it's leader.

Humbling their leader says more than fearing him does.

No but it'll take a bigger team than they currently have and I think we were introduced to a part of that future team with the people from the group that helped Morgan and Carol.

I get the idea behind wanting to attack first, but raiding that compound with little to no scouting or reconnaissance was the start of this groups downfall. They could have easily learned how big this group was beforehand and realized they were going to get bitch slapped back to reality when the conflict began. Which is exactly what just happened.

Side note, what took the Alexandrians so long to come across any Saviors? Or the other way around? With clearly how large their group is and how well connected and organized they are, it seems like they would have have come across them earlier. Especially during all that giant walker herd movement and routing.

I also hope that whoever died isn't someone from the OG crew. Because like someone else said, all that buildup with no reveal. And then next season I'm sure it will start with that, but it just won't have the same buildup and aura that should be deserving.

I'm willing to bet that they have that same scene from the 3rd person point of view in the season premiere

I don't get all the bitching about commercials. Started watching about 40 minutes after the episode started and just skipped through any commercials. Barely noticed them. Those complaining must be poor, stupid, or both.
