I think that's horrible. In my opinion, in these types of situations(end of the world type stuff) the ONLY goal is to spend every waking moment trying to fix the situation. There is ONE acceptable endgame.

but in this type of situation 99% of the people will just be trying to survive and not trying to solve the issue

I like focusing on the normal people and their struggles.

Then you best just move on to another show man, because you are in for a complete letdown.

I do too. I enjoy the show. I'd just like to see it go places before it's over. I don't need Russia to invade the US next episode. But I'd like to figure some shite out at some point in the series.

Until Brad Pitt joins the cast in Season 20, you are going to be let down.

Exactly. What in the hell would I (or 99.9% of the people) know about trying to cure a virus that is turning 90% of the population into zombies.

Why is the concept of the show NOT being about the zombies, but about the effects of it all on human nature can people not seem to understand. This show was never going to tell us what started the outbreak, or how it ends. I thought the writers made that clear when they started the show.

plus the more you dive into there being a definitive reason to all of this and there possibly being a cure, the more you limit the series.

I didn't think I would like this episode. Because outside of Cutty, I can't stand anyone in that little group (Carol and the 2 girls). But it ended up being a great episode addressing several holes in the plot left at the prison.

i.e. who's feeding the zombies rats? who cut up the mouse/rabbit in the basement? Who really killed Tyreese' white woman? We all have asked those questions about 100 times.

Plus now that sick little bitch Lizzie is gone. Carol capped her demented arse and now we can all move on to Terminus. Carol earned major points this episode for me. Ol' Yellow'ing sick arse Lizzie and being honest with Tyreese about her killing those 2 back at the prison to attempt stopping the outbreak of the Pig Flu.

I am kinda ready for the group to all get back together now tho. I'm assuming that the smoke stack they saw was Beth and Daryll, so they've got to all still be decently close.

Also, I agree with Anti. Some of the people who hate this show, yet come into these threads to shite on it.....are a waste of human life. SFP being one of them. But his shtick has always been trying to impress people with his intellect in threads he has no business being in, then saying he's just trolling.

it's hive mind stuff. certain patterns emerge and opposing viewpoints are excluded to the point where new, stronger patterns emerge

i haven't been bad in this thread except for about 20 minutes last night. but as i admitted today, it was a failure on my part b/c the larger part is that zombies shouldn't even matter at this point. after all, just read all of the counters to the poster saying he wanted bigger scope

if that is to be accepted as true, zombies should rarely appear, b/c this isn't a show about zombies

I don't think it's thread as much as SFP. This board and the recruiting board used to be the best on the site. Very little bullshite and trolling. Not so much now. Why would someone come into a thread discussing a show with the sole purpose is to say how stupid he thinks it is and admittedly has only watched a few episodes in 4 years?

totally agree with this

I really wish they would go an episode without encountering any zombies because at this point they should have become better at avoiding them

I would think avoiding population centers should be pretty high up on the zombie apocalypse rules for survival.

They did show one scene in season 2 (I think) where a helicopter flew over a big group of zombies so they all started walking in that direction. I guess that's one reason a herd of zombies might be out in BFE.
