Watch the first season. Its 6 or 7 episodes and it remains some of most favorite TV ever.

Surely nobody is surprised that the garbage group turned. They live in a dump for Christ's sake. They were self interested the whole time.

Ezekiel made a deal with the Saviors when he met them. Part of the deal was for the Saviors to not set foot in the Kingdom where Shiva was

We did. As I said, I think the last thing we watched was the end of the Governor's stint on the show (it's hard to tell because I don't really remember what happened when, so some stuff we watched might have happened after that. I'd look it up, but if we're to rewatch it, I'd rather know as little as possible. I already knew Glenn was dead because it showed up on my news feed in big headline letters.)

We've officially known that the Hilltop and Kingdom were on Rick's side for weeks.

So more people joined an already large army? Like a drop in the bucket.

Sasha is dead

She died a couple weeks back on her suicide mission into the Sanctuary.

War has finally started

Which is where we started this episode.

We thought the GPK were on Rick's side, him losing that makes a difference.

War had not started until the end of the epsiode, it was going to be a negotiation or a swift dumping of Negan and his man crew.

The GPK turning on Rick is what caused the war

again, I'm aware of that
it still doesn't make any sense for Negan to have made such a deal with them
nor does it make any sense he didn't know about the tiger

surely that would have come up right?
"hey negan you know that community that we control that gives us food that you decided never to visit or know anything about? The leader has a tiger"

Oh. Didnt know if you did.

Tough to really enjoy the negan stuff without the build up.

Seasons 4 and 5 were pretty damn good. The stuff after the governor. Terminus.

Id say its worth a watch but theres a lot of good tv out there to compete for your time

There are some atlanta hospital episodes which are awful. Skip those

Pretty sure everyone was pulling for a walker ironically. I was hoping Michonne would eventually win her battle and snipe Neegan. But that would be too easy.

What is my brain not remembering about that toy soldier Darryl had at the end with the words "didn't know" on it?

quote:

So what happened with the Hilltop Mayor?

Someone mentioned that he had driven out with his assistant, but he was fed up with Maggie becoming a leader, and knew something was up. He took that Negan rep's info on how to meet up and give information and basically ratted Hilltop out.

Dwight collected pieces like that for his chess board.

The show runners expect everyone to remember a mundane detail from the episode Dwight was first introduced.

how could negan not know Ezekiel has a tiger?
the whole "arrangement" with the kingdom makes no sense knowing what we know about the saviors and Negans need to have the world entertain him

It makes sense imo.

Part of the initial deal was for Ezekiel's people to not know, and as long as his shipments are there on time Negan is good with that.

I'm not trying to rationalize Negan here, but I think if you do whatever he asks, he clearly seeks to give you a little leeway.

Comparing that to Alexandria is apples to oranges, considering Alexandria murdered an entire Savior outpost at the onset of Rick vs Negan.

So not a single thing was accomplished by this episode, right?

We're in the same place we started with the Saviors planning an attack on Rick & Co.
I hate watch this show every week, but I think your trying too hard here.

A hell of a lot went down.

Like what?

Every action that happened in this finale has no bearing on the events to come next season. Rick and his group(s) have less people than when they started and still want to fight the Saviors. The Saviors still want to punish/fight Rick'a group and have acquired more people.

Yea i saw that coming a mile away. Kinda surprised a lot of yall on here didn't predict that as the episode went on. Especially with the way that sniper for them made it pretty clear she wanted to be at michonne's back. That's when i knew something was immediately shady with them. Overall pretty good episode, but for the love of shite, can anyone shoot straight?

The tiger kill was awesome! Bout damn time they feed that thing.

Only thing im wondering now is how do u protect three separate communities that are far apart? Should be interesting no doubt. Hate to say it, but they need oceanside for numbers.
