To be fair to AUveritas, Daryl doesn't exist in the comics. I am keeping my eye on someone else in the thread that is skirting the line, but I don't want to call them out and tip anyone off to anything.

Let me clarify: the Jesus Christ on a crucifix pose. As far as I know, neither Jesus of Nazareth or Daryl make an appearance in the comics.

I think Norman Reedus asked to be in the comics, as a cameo. I think RK said no.

Missed the episode last night and watched this am. Aside from the end with the "help" that was probably Glenn (but we won't know until after the mid-season break. Book it.) the whole episode was pretty frustrating.
Why would Daryl trust these randos who knocked him out and tried to kill him? I guess Beth's "there are still good people" speech got into his head and he got screwed in the end. At least he found a magic truck that somehow everyone else in the ZA totally missed.
The rest was just meh. I'll be watching along with y'all next week.

Or it could be the duo that took off on Daryl's bike. Assuming they took his radio, they saw him use it a few times to try to radio Abraham and Sasha.
Good point.
That would be the only other way to get an unfamiliar tone on the radio.
I feel that Darryl had the radio after the ones who took his bike left though.

Did he try to radio Abraham and Sasha after that? I really don't remember.

It may be designed to make us think it was Glenn...but Daryl needs to get his bow and bike back.

That truck was from the 3 people that almost killed him. They somehow used it to start the fire but I don't exactly remember how. Am I wrong on this? I'm pretty sure that's how it got there.

The 3 people that Daryl bumped into said that they had stolen something. They also set a lot of acreage on fire. I was under the impression that they had used the fuel truck and then stashed it.

Yes. The three drove through the woods with the valve open, spilling gas along the way, then lit it with a match box.

Didn't see it mentioned but did anyone notice Daryl's Jesus pose at the beginning of the episode when he was lying down in the woods? Foreshadowing?

Reedus was quick to point out that the strangled cry of "help" that ended this week's episode definitely did not belong to Glenn (Steven Yeun). He added that it was probably someone from Alexandria, but he unfortunately had about as much information as fans did when it came down to Glenn's conspicuous death.

If the 3 people (now 2 people after the death of insulin girl) knew about the truck why would they steal the motorcycle?
Motorcycle might get good gas mileage but offers no protection against walkers. Truck would be much better to have, especially if you are as inept as that dude was, plus you have extra fuel for travel...

As dead as Jon Snow...maybe.

The "help" plea sounded more like Aaron to me...

Aaron is the gay scouter guy?

I bet they use the fuel to draw the herd from Glenn.
Glenn is part of the herd now, so it'd be pointless.
