The funny thing about tonight's episode is that both Sasha and Rick were right in their ideas.
Sasha was right about not always playing defense. Heck, with the firepower they've amassed, they should be doing a heck of a lot more than trying to recruit a couple of people here and there. They should be trying some systematic methods of clearing out the zombies and keeping them cleared out. Establish outposts. Try to expand. Heck, have some babies and try to get the population of living up a bit.
And Rick was right that it's probably not best to let someone just keep beating up his wife over and over and who is so bad his own son has to lock himself in the closet with a latch on the inside. That's not exactly conducive to public safety when anyone who dies becomes a zombie. If they don't want to kill him or put him in jail, try some old fashioned remedies - stockade, caning, something like that. I doubt he'd leave - where the hell is he going to go?
Problem is both Sasha and Rick's messages got lost in the fact that they were both acting pretty batshit crazy.
