Poor Anthony, he was better than nearly everyone else who performed tonight. Guess there could only be 1 Gospel singer in this competition.

Okay, I'm four into this thing.
First battle was solid, and I thought Tony would win it.
Second battle, neither were great. I thought the curly hair chick would win it, but as soon as Blake opened his mouth and said something about believing the song, I knew he was gonna go with Raelynn. I picked that one right, but I thought the curly haired chick was better. But Blake did the same thing last year with Xenia in her battle round (I thought she should've lost).
Christina's round was good, and they both did really well I thought. I think Chris deserved to move on though..his voice is awesome. And he sang a song completely out of his wheelhouse and did really well.
Cheese-a (I'm sorry, but if it was "Chessa," it'd have two S's) sucked I thought. I had Angie in that one. Another bad choice IMO.
Jordas and this dude are about to go now for me...I pick the Brian dude before seeing the battle because this Jordas chick seems to be psyching herself out before it even starts, and she seems to be having trouble hitting some of the notes.
Interested to see these next two battles...
ETA: Cee-Lo's pick of Total Eclipse of the Heart is the best song choice so far IMO.
ETA2: The Ironic battle was awful on both parts. I'd go with Jordas by default because she was less terrible.

Had some pretty good performances last night. I thought Tony and Chris did a great job in the opening act. Could have gone either way on that one. I would have picked the curly haired cheerleader over RaeLynn though. She pulled it back like she was instructed and outperformed RaeLynn, but I think Blake had his mind made up before they even sang. Cheesa sucks. Sorry. Chris and Monique both were good. Monique really surprised me on how she was able to hit some of those high notes in a Celine song. Stupid pairing IMO though. There are some weak members on Christina's team that she could have gotten rid of (The MC? Who the frick is he going to beat in anything other than a rap off?) The Jordis song was pretty bad. I actually stopped paying attention during that one.
The main even between Anthony and Jesse was amazing. Incredible performance by both guys. It sucks that one of them had to leave but to me it was worth it in order to see that duet.
