The Monique battle was close but Chris clearly had the better voice. But hey, I guess having the better voice doesn't really matter in this competition.
I am still scratching my head on why Christina pairs up her two Gospel singers in the same battle, they are probably the two best voices on her team. You would figure as a mentor you would want the best chance to have someone from your group win and would pair weaker against stronger competitors to ensure the stronger move on. But I guess she goes for fair fights or what would blend together as a good melody.
