The show is a social experiment,
This talking point needs to be put out to pasture. This hasn’t been the case for a LONG time. The show is there for 2 reasons, to get ratings and to make people marketable enough to farm out to other CBS entities.
You bring in Survivor people because they already have name recognition and new people will watch the show to see them. They will NEVER allow those people to be voted out in the first half of the season. So you get secret powers, guaranteed HOH’s, built in alliances, etc. CBS won’t risk having them bounced early. Then they need to promote ‘new’ people and get them likable (or unlikable) enough so they can move on to The Challenge and Amazing Race and do the same thing for those shows that Dee and Devins did for this show. Rinse & Repeat. Like it or hate it, that’s how the setup is now.
If you go into the season with the thought of watching a true, fair game that’s a ‘social experiment’ above all else, you’re going to be disappointed 100% of the time.

I mean just the fact that she convinced Devens to turn on Drew and bring her to F2 with one conversation was actually a HUGE move imo but she never even mentioned it, only Devens did.
IMO this is what happens when you cast people that know nothing about the game and/or how its played and are just there to get social media famous.
Didn't Chuk learn about BB from ChatGPT?

the good ole days of people like Dr Will who had no intention of being famous or trying to be a unemployed social media influencer are gone. He was there to make good tv and destroy everyone in the house and move on after. Even Dan Weesel became an unemployed social media influencer playing kid video games all day.

Just wanted to put a bow on it....
I think there is a few things trickling out since last night's finale, but all in all a PAR season. Nothing crazy and off the rails, nothing super memorable. If all seasons were just PAR they will continue to do its job and that is to get us through the dog days of the Summer.
Always enjoyed watching it with the fam and getting to come together a few nights a week.
Alot of that has been lost with the streaming stuff nowadays, but still good to have some old school stuff like this carry us through.

Dee turns 30 today. She had to have gotten wasted last night I would imagine. Looks like from X and Instagram the cast went out last night with people from Survivor and other BB seasons. Kaycee from S20 was partying with her.

Want to feel gutted for Drew, but the way he was so smug in his evictions even when it meant screwing over FAP he deserves all the poetic justice.
He was going to do the exact same thing had he won. He gets it- doesn’t make it any easier, but it was the right move. That vote is a lot closer if it’s Drew/Devins

Based on post season interviews Devins would have beat both and Taylor was drawing dead.

I'm still trying to decide if Dee and Melody are nice looking or just extremely made up.

I'd pay $10k to the Democratic Party for a threesome with them

well... it took Big Brother and CBS a very long 7 years to finally get a deserving winner, but they actually got one this season.
maybe, JUST MAYBE this show has FINALLY turned the toxic corner of the 2020 Woke Supremacy route it took that almost completely destroyed the show.
FINALLY a real winner based on gameplay and not skin color.

I absolutely think Devins deserved to win, but now I laugh at who the final 2 ended up being with how the first 15 minutes of the show begin!!!!
Taylor had to “run to the other room” because the white guy “dissed her” on opening night as everyone was entering house.
I only wish Devins had that video and commentary of them entering house only make reference to it in his closing arguments that he also had to coddle Taylor since the first 15 minutes of entering house.

she was gift wrapped and handed the win from Mackenzie.
Chelsie was a likeable player, but had absolutely no business being in the final two.
