I think Austin is tired of Vanessa. I'm not saying he'll convince Liz to put her up, but he is already saying they need to keep Becky in the game to go after Vanessa. He also told Liz and Julia that they need to make a final 5 with Meg and James, and leave Vanessa out of it. So who knows with the way this house usually goes, maybe they end up putting her up after veto?
Hell, who am I kidding. They aren't smart enough to take Vanessa out now.

I had a dream I got evicted and on the way out I told Austin Liz was using him and totally crashed his world

I don't really get why he threw up Jackie & Meg. Unless it was a knee jerk reaction. I assumed he would target Becky.

Because Jackie, James and Meg were basically a trio, just like Austin and the twins. I guess he figured that someone has to start taking out the trios before the numbers get any further in their favor, and he at least works with Austin & the twins (Freeks & Geeks). He's doesn't talk game at all with JJM, so he just figured that taking a shot at that trio was better for his game because he could always pin it on Vanessa (which he has).

I definitely have never been as pissed in prior seasons. What a waste of a HOH, and on Double Eviction night. It's not that I just SOOOO wanted Austin or Vanessa to leave, it's just what was the point of Meg and Jackie? It literally made no sense. Almost like he pulled names out of a hat.

If he loathes becky as much as he leads on, why not target her? There would still be both trios, but he has no true alliance anyway so who cares. With becky (his supposed big enemy) out of the house, he coudl slowly work on joining in with one of the trios or strengthen a bond with vanessa. Now he's just wandering aimlessly and for absolute certain has a group of folks after him.
