Derrick isn't going to put up Frankie because of the team America alliance. I think he will put up Jocasta and Victoria. Then backdoor devin/caleb.

Yep, I think that's the only way to get rid of Devin.
In no way was it best for Derrick to be HoH this early. He's sitting in a good spot with just about everyone. That will probably change no matter what now.

yea, but even if whoever you pair Devin with for BOB does throw it, they would stay on the block and Devin would get a chance to play in the POV

True, but it does hurt the personal relationships he has with both. Victoria was confiding in him last night and he and Jocasta pray together every day.
Think winning is a big mistake for Derrick right now. Not that he can't come out of it; but it was unnecessary for him to win.
ETA: Of course, if anyone this season can convince two pawns they are same in a back door scenario to get Devin out, it's Derrick. Though now that I think about it, I'm kind of pulling for Devin to get picked for POV and win again just to screw with the house even more.

I don't believe he was sitting bad with anyone. There was no reason for him to win. I don't see anything good that can come from it for him.

I mean everyone knows that Devin is the target and as long as he doesn't win POV hes going home.
The entire house will unite to get him out of the house, so this is the week to win HOH. Very easy to tell noms that Devin is the target

Sure, I just think it makes you the center of attention to win HOH. Even if you do something the house goes with, they'll end up resenting you for being in power.
Considering the alternative was Frankie, might as well let that guy have it. Will only further to amplify the feelings against him and plant some seeds for further on down the line.
Of course, I do think Derrick is the best talker this show has had in a long while. So it's likely he'll come out looking good anyway. Generally, though, I'd never want HOH unless I absolutely needed it.
