Chris Carter and FOX need to go to every length to get Vince on board for The X-Files.

I'd definitely go into it expecting nothing near BB-level quality

What I like a lot is that it "feels" like BB visually. The pacing, the camera angles, etc.

Obviously I'm not comparing the totality of the shows because 1)BCS hasn't even finished 1 season and 2)BB could content as GOAT status...but I would put BCS S1 up there with BB S1 without hesitation. Simply based off the first season of both shows, I don't really see much dropoff.

Good deal, do it quickly so you can start jumping in the threads lol

When I hear RICO I think of the Untouchables TV series. And not because of the RICO act, but because Ness was always calling for Agent Rico Rossi.

I think it could easily be better than breaking bad and so far I think it's twice as good as breaking bad. I love it.

So what is the general consensus on this show? I have all of the episodes recorded on my DVR, but haven't watched them yet (and was hesitant to). I almost pulled the trigger yesterday and rifled through them, but figured I'd see what people thought about it first.

I've heard very little about the series (in terms of being good or bad).

FWIW, I watched BB about 15 months ago and loved it. When I heard about BCS, I was hesitant because as awesome as Saul was on BB, it was because he wasn't a main character, and I wasn't sure how good a show focused on him would be. But I know it has most (all?) of the same writers as BB did, so I was willing to give it a chance.

I went in very skeptical. Mostly because I don't care for prequels. And the first episode didn't blow me away. I thought twice about even continuing to watch. But after that it has gotten better and better. It ranges from very good to awesome IMO. The actor who plays Mike is really really good.

I was skeptical at first.. I've watched every episode because I can't stop... I won't "endorse" it, but I'll be tuning in tonight.

So for what it's worth, I recommend at least giving it a shot...

Are the short opening credits foreshadowing? Every time it is a different scene.

I hope Saul punches him in his mouth before the season ends.

I'd say tonight's scene was a flashback...

No. I mean the actual opening theme. With the tarantula walking around the ties.
