I thought the pilot was much better than tonight. I think this show may be a little rocky for a few episodes until it hits its rhythm. It desperately needs some supporting characters to step up soon.

Looking forward to seeing Mike's character come out of that parking booth and develop his PI persona.

Tuco's friend looks like a prime candidate.

I think Mike will be getting more involved soon.

The blonde chick from the law firm might get a shot

We are 2 episodes in. So far, both have been better than I expected when I first heard they were doing a spin off. Compared to two and a half men and whatever crap is on tv, these two episodes have been really good. I think the people nitpicking don't really understand how perspective works.

All 3 are in the credits when the show starts, so yeah.

Not sure if that was directed at me, but I was certainly not "nitpicking".

Off to a fantastic start. Starting off with a defined, artistic look. The closing musical sequence was perfect, especially if you've ever worked around a courthouse or known attorneys who do court appointed public defender work.

It was a general statement not directed at anyone.

First 20 or so minutes were tense as shite. Good stuff.

I thought this show was going to be a disaster, but I have been entertained.

Was the blond that shot him a look in the courthouse the same one smoking that cig in the first episode?

I agree.

I'm already pleased, and can't wait until the next episode. A few scenes tonight were tense.

The slow start is necessary to truly develop a great character. It sucks at the time but you appreciate it later.

I'm not positive, but I think so.

Yep, same one.

She was also Franklins love interest in Franklin and Bash, glad she found other work.

I've never watched Breaking Bad, so I don't know any of the backstory (frontstory?) I watched the first ten minutes of this episode and wasn't drawn in, tbh. Maybe I was expecting too much after reading how great BB is supposed to be.

It actually makes me disappointed that we didn't get this character in Breaking Bad. Odenkirk can convey empathy and humanity so well that the BB Saul now feels like a missed opportunity.

Tuco's friend should be solid. I knew he was gonna be the "customer" at the end.

Well, at least you gave it a whole ten minutes. LOL.

I think this show is going to be a good one.

Episodes 1 and 2 are replaying now on AMC.

So, is Chuck just mentally crazy? Kinda seems like Saul doesn't believe that he's actually sick.

Hes got Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity

WHO info on Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity

quote:

EHS is characterized by a variety of non-specific symptoms, which afflicted individuals attribute to exposure to EMF. The symptoms most commonly experienced include dermatological symptoms (redness, tingling, and burning sensations) as well as neurasthenic and vegetative symptoms (fatigue, tiredness, concentration difficulties, dizziness, nausea, heart palpitation, and digestive disturbances). The collection of symptoms is not part of any recognized syndrome.

quote:

A number of studies have been conducted where EHS individuals were exposed to EMF similar to those that they attributed to the cause of their symptoms. The aim was to elicit symptoms under controlled laboratory conditions.

The majority of studies indicate that EHS individuals cannot detect EMF exposure any more accurately than non-EHS individuals. Well controlled and conducted double-blind studies have shown that symptoms were not correlated with EMF exposure.

quote:

There are also some indications that these symptoms may be due to pre-existing psychiatric conditions as well as stress reactions as a result of worrying about EMF health effects, rather than the EMF exposure itself.

So, is it a mental disease or an actual disease that can physically harm you?
