I'm on the Tobias episode, it's great. I do like that everything is so well connected between the episodes, but yea, I fricking miss gob.
Wait until you get to GOB's episode

I mean it's 7 years later and we got 15 more episodes of AD. The writing isn't quite as witty but it's still 10 times smarter and funnier than anything on TV.
Like you said it is still very witty, much more so than almost any comedy on tv right now. The barry zuckercorn buying the stepladder in episode 6 made me lose it. That is classic AD that makes you put it together yourself and then love it when once you do.

Yep. You can tell it's gone down a little bit (probably a little rusty from the long wait), but it's still got it.

Just finished #4. Every episode has been better than the last and at this point, it's pretty damn close to typical AD quality.

OK, just got to the Tobias episode, and I'm really starting to feel the format. Took me a bit to get into it, but each episode I'm starting to like it more and more.

I'm through episode 6, and so far the weakest IMO have been the Michael episodes. The two George Sr episodes have been great, as well as the Tobias.
Don't forget that this is show that typically gets funnier when you rewatch it. I didn't fully appreciate it when it was originally airing. It was one of my favorite shows and I was dumbfounded that it got cancelled, but rewatching it on netflix allows you to pickup on jokes you either didn't understand at the time or didn't catch the first time around. May be the same story with this season.

Episode 9 right? I finally started laughing routinely. I'm trying to get used to this format I guess but I feel like I'm watching Crash just a bit funnier. I may have pumped myself up way too much also.

same, I should have never doubted this show. the more I watch, the more things make sense and make me laugh. it's like every episode just builds off of the rest.

I think it's possible they did it this way to lessen the burden on the actors and writers so they didn't have try and get them all together for each episode and various scenes like they did during its original run.

yea probably had something to do with it. Gob's first episode is starting out strong

That's what I'm thinking. The more I watch the more jokes from previous episodes reveal themselves. Started slow and each episode is better than the last. Except the Tobias episode. I lmao at that one. Gonna be tought to top it.

"Where's my little girl? Daddy needs to get his rocks off."
Almost fell out of my chair laughing at that scene.
