Based on tonight:
1. Jessica Sanchez
2. Skylar Laine
3. Josh Ledet
4. Holly Cavanaugh (she's from New Zealand, not England.)
5. Colton Dixon
6. Philip Philips
7. Erica Van Pelt
8. Elise Testone
9. Han Heejun
10. Jermaine Jones
11. Deandre Brackensick
12. Jeremy Rosado
13. Shannon Magrane
I think Jeremy and Shannon are in the bottom two and Shannon's gone because Lopez has a hard-on for Rosado, but I'd much rather any of the bottom three guys get booted over Shannon. She had a bad night, but she's much better than those three overall.

just got finished watching....4 or 5 really good performances...and damn...jessica is amazing..
my top 8....
-the rest really dont matter
1. jessica sanchez--.i think if you played the whitney record and her singing at the same time, they would be almost identical...her mimicking ability is amazing..that may have been the best cover in the history of idol..i think she sounded identical to the original...crazy....she should be the favorite at this point
2.holly cavanaugh- i picked her as my darkhorse last year and this year during hollywood week , so i'll prob be bias the whole time....but i really like her voice and think she's hella talented...another tiny girl with a huge voice..she was great
3.skylar- judges say they didnt, but i actually really liked the first minute of her performance..i enjoyed how she held some back and showed some soft/pretty chops
4.colten- nice job...i think he's the most talented male...well, him and ledet, with phil close behind..
5.phil- he's super popular, pretty talented, and very likeable-- but ive seen too much of dave matthews in my lifetime already...i think he is an exact clone of dm and its a little annoying..
6. erica van pelt- she is very good...i dont think she's getting the love attention she deserves...one of the strongest voices on the show..
7. joshua - nice church voice...good performace..may eventually get a little old with the same old thing every week...
8. hee june and mellisa- both have very pretty voices...but may be oversadowed/outvoted b/c of some of these power voices and power personalities ahead of them..
this season is doing a a good job of pointing out how shitty this stable of judges is as well...its a joke that holly and colton were cut during hollywood week last year...i have no scouting experience and have never been paid to find talent, and both of them stuck out big time to me last year..

totally agree on your assessment of Jessica Sanchez. Like I said, her version tonight was better than Jhud's on the grammy's a few weeks ago. The only other female artist who comes close to mimicking Whitney is Leona Lewis. Go youtube her Xfactor performance of I Will Always Love You. Jessica comes pretty close to Leona Lewis's version.

The performances I liked last night were Jessica, Holly, Phil, and Skylar...in that order.
Leona Lewis perfomances on Xfactor are amazing. Her versions of "I have nothing" and "I will always love you" are spot on.

How accurate is Dial Idol at predicting? They have Phil Philips and Jessica Sanchez leading the guys and girls respectively. DeAndre 
is in 2nd and I was really hoping he'd be gone. Looks like big Jermaine is last of everyone.
BTW, I really like Phil Phillips and think he can win the whole thing. That said, the judges need to tell them (they won't because they all suck) to tone down his Dave mimicking. I know he's an influence but he holds the guitar the same exact way, raises his leg, crazy faces, etc. I still think he can win, though.
