Wonder Woman fits and is actually very enjoyable. She was my favorite part.

The entire rest of the jla is just thrown in there and has absolutely no reason of being in the movie. Those parts are comically bad, especially the flash. That guy is a fricking joke as Barry Allen. Just atrocious.

Zach Snyder.

Someone on here got on to me that Snyder was a "fan" and therefore would understand why these characters work.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

From the Wikipedia page of Man Of Steel:

quote:

"He basically told me, 'I have this thought about how you would approach Superman', I immediately got it, loved it and thought: That is a way of approaching the story I’ve never seen before that makes it incredibly exciting. I wanted to get Emma Thomas and I involved in shepherding the project right away and getting it to the studio and getting it going in an exciting way." —Christopher Nolan, recalling the moment when Goyer presented the idea of a modernized Superman.[46][47]

What's the approach?

Just saw it.. It's not a bad movie. It's just ok and that makes me mad. I liked man of steel alot. But I wanted this movie to be 10 times better. They had 3 years to make this with all the resources and all the talent involved but the end result is just average. Editing is weird. Its justs jumps from scene to scene. Although the action is great, I wasn't emotionally invested in the fight. Because Snyder didnt set up the two main characters properly.

Ben Affleck is great but I can't believe the kind of Batman Snyder put in this film. Henry cavill is good. Jesse Eisenberg was bad. He was too over the top.
If Snyder can't handle the two main characters properly, what is he going to do in the justice league. I don't feel like defending him anymore. I am beginning to think Watchmen was a fluke. He is good at visuals but he is a bad story teller.

That's he's irresponsible, a dick, becomes responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths, and openly holds the world hostage?

Man Nolan was so wrong on that. Or that's just studio speak to support your fellow filmmaker.

I'm going with the later. Everything I've heard from the project is that Nolan was ignored entirely from a creative standpoint. This was all Goyer's and Snyder's baby. They just put his name on the movie so more people would see it, and then tried to rip him off and totally failed due to not understanding why his movies worked.

A Batman without morals is a complete disgrace to the character and makes zero fricking sense.

Just noticed something for the first time on Man of Steel (which I've been watching on FX in preparation for the train wreck). I thought it was totally ridiculous for Doug Stamper to ask Lois to a basketball game a few weeks tops after half of Metropolis is destroyed, largely due to the fact I don't think the average person in Metropolis will have gotten over about 5 dozen of their friends and family being killed.

But what is just as ridiculous is that Doug Stamper saved "Jenny Olsen"s life by digging her out of the rubble, and then she refuses to go to the game with him too. What a fricking heartless bitch. She owes him at least a handjob for god's sake.

Just got out and gathering my thoughts so bare with me.

If anyone didn't like this movie then you never were giving it a chance to begin with. Affleck was fantastic. Loved Batman didn't give a shite killing fools left and right. I had the biggest boner watching Batman beat the shite out of Superman. It was slow but when it picked up it picked up! BTW I can't stress the music when WW shows up. Totally set the tone for those scenes. Doomsday was done just fine imo not getting the hate for that. All this movie did was get me jacked for the Justice League.

SPOILER!!!

Just got back and frankly, it wasn't that bad. It's not good either. It certainly doesn't deserve the 30% on Tomatoes.

I like this film much more than Man of Steel that's for sure. I liked how Bruce was a guy full of piss and vinegar going off on Clark about "being a man" and that he wasn't one. I liked the entire confrontation between the two and that it was pretty clear that Bruce bested Clark. I liked the entire fight with Doomsday and loved how this film had the balls to do what The Dark Knight Rises didn't do, and that was kill Clark. I know many will say he isn't dead and that he will be back and we know that, but when the credits rolled, Clark was a dead man in a pine box.

What I hated was the return of the teleporting Lois Lane and how she managed to always be around the danger again. I also absolutely loathed Lex Luthor. His plan didn't make a whole lot of sense and I wasn't sure exactly what authority granted Lex that level of access to Zod and the ship while Lois had to go to the Secretary of Defense for analysis on a bullet. Not to mention the over the top way he is played, you can't look like someone who works at Google and at the same time be a mad scientist, and at the same time look menacing. I was also not a fan of Diana's music when she joined the fight. I'm not sure if that is going to be the main theme from her solo film, but it sounded like it came from a completely different movie.

Man of Steel was a film that wasn't good that found a way to be just okay at times. Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice was just okay throughout and in my opinion had an amazing final act and ending.
