He made Inception less than 3 years ago.

You do realize that Nolan has to do these types of movies to continue to get the massive studio funding for his side projects, right? Without the success of Batman, there is no way in hell a studio would give him $250 million for an original project (Inception). That's a massive amount of money for a studio to front with the only brand recognition being Christopher Nolan.

Sounds a little like Steven Soderbergh. One for them (studio), one for me (SS).

He's going to make it a real life style bond.

Nope. Craig is good. We just need better writing.

I somewhat agree. Craig is good, but he is not Bond. He is just an older Jason Bourne. He doesn't have the swagger that Connery or Moore has. M said it right, he is just a blunt object.

Is it even legal to have a German or an Irishman playing Bond?

Scottish are fine but Irish need not apply?

Personally, I would prefer that someone else direct the next Bond film, and then wrap up Daniel Craig's arc (trust me, I LOVE the Craig films).

Let Nolan start with Bond from scratch. But that's just me.

This. Nolan will want to make it completely his IMO if he takes it on. I do like Craig, but I'd expect someone new.

I go back and forth on what a Bond movie would look like with Nolan. On one hand he's without a doubt my favorite director at the moment. However, my only complaint has been his action scenes in some movies (machine gun car chase and stupid ski scene in Inception) have been pretty lame at times. Hopefully he'd tone it down for Bond and give us a throwback movie.

I'd be there at midnight zero doubt to find out, that's for damn sure.

He does not. He makes the perfect action hero. Bond has to be smooth, make non political correct comments, he has to ooze swagger and be loaded with gadgets.

Craig's Bond has almost none of this and while the movies are very enjoyable they just aren't a bond movie.

I'm glad they have gone away from this; it's lame. Bond can have a cool device or two but he's not fvcking Inspector Gadget.

Personally I think Michael Fassbender would be a good choice to replace Craig. Others think Idris Elba or Tom Hardy would be a good choice. I just think its time for Craig to go.

How is Tom Hardy any different than Craig as far as your Bond definition goes?

Agree 100%. They changed the character a little which is needed to keep it interesting..

Cut back on the gadgets and I like the way Craig represents "Bond". A little old school with some bad arse thrown in there.

His next film is about wormholes and time travel. I don't mind if he skips between original stories and established franchises, especially when this and Batman are two of my favorite franchises. I think Nolan could make a great Bond film.
