How is Tom Hardy any different than Craig as far as your Bond definition goes?

He wasnt my choice. I think Fassbender should be the next bond.

Huh? Part of what makes a great director is versatility. Many great directors have made "commercial" movies along with their more esoteric creations.

Sam Mendes (a director who in different ways is as talented as Nolan) was an interesting choice to direct Skyfall, and he created a very good Bond movie. I think Nolan is a very good choice.

And by the fricking way, Inception is an interesting film from a technical standpoint, but extremely overpraised on this board. It's not nearly as interesting a film as, say, Nolan's own Memento.

I always thought Clive Owen would be a ballin Bond

Possibly.

I really wish Owen would do some more movies. I love some of that guy's earlier roles, but he seemed to have disappeared.

This would be great--esp since Mendes stole plot points from TDK and the entire visual tableau from Inception for Skyfall...

How does Sam Mendes have an Oscar, but Nolan doesn't?
