I remember her from her time at LSU. She's had some work done apparently.

I used to drive her to school.

Pretty sure they also have a place in the quarter

Barry and Tameka live in Metairie and send their kids to private school in Metairie. Barry owns fuel fitness on Metairie Road. Barry is a nice guy, but, calling them "Elite" is laughable.

I’m a member at Fuel Fitness. Barry told me the show is fake as frick. Was mostly his wife’s idea for them to gain publicity. He was concerned about it would affect his kids tho.

Gain publicity for what? Further her news career? Further his gym ownership? Gotta be 1,000 better ways of doing that than a "reality" show.
I just watched the trailer and was thinking, hope they can stay married after the things the TV show shows, fake or not. Regardless if it is fake or not, perception becomes reality. They will have to deal with the things and issues that they broadcast and their kids will have to deal with it.
I personally think involving yourself in a reality tv show such as this one is a terrible idea, especially for a married couple with kids, but, to each his own.

She didn't get those big monsters to limit them to the 4th rate local news broadcast.

Probably one of the reasons she left WWL for that sillty shite show News with a Twist
She was a Saintsation. She’s an attention whore. Of course it was her idea.

She should know by now that going on a crappy reality show isn't the way to move up...

This won’t end well for Tamica.

At worst it'll just fizzle out and get cancelled. Cast is pretty black for the typical Bravo audience but doesn't look crazy enough for the RHOA audience. WGNO will probably love the attention so she won't have to worry about her day job.

I will be there to catch her when she falls.

I have to admit that Southern Charm is a guilty pleasure of mine. That said, something about this group seems off. It’s got the feeling of being forced. I just don’t see these people being close friends in real life. The previous seasons in Charleston and Savannah featured groups that have been friends for years; some for decades. Also, throwing a personal injury attorney into the mix cheapens it somehow. It’s supposed to be about old southern money. I guess we’ll see.

She's a "socialite". This is right up her ally. Prob the only one that truly fits on the show. I watched a few of the clips earlier, Barry looks so uncomfortable speaking on the camera

The question is will the show be “black enough” to catch on with African American viewers without degenerating into foul language and weave-pulling like the Real Housewives of Atlanta?

I don't know the show but that's an embarrassment for the city. Those people I suppose really successful folks wouldn't have time for such foolishness. And those birthday-caked faced women, good lord, trashy.

I don't know...it seem to work great or Jon, Kate and those kids.

Reagan used to hang around Fred’s a bit with my old roommates sister.
She’s about as interesting as a pet rock.

If they have to try and flaunt wealth on a reality show...they don’t run Nola.

They just have to appear to be rich, which a network can get anybody to do. The family of one of the OC Housewives was once evicted from their condo during filming.
