The Charleston crew gets paid really well per year (but because they are signed on for 6 seasons)- I think about 400k per year not counting endorsements.
This New Orleans one is going to be terrible and none of the people really have money (other than whatever Jeff Charleston has left over). It’s also well known that 2 of the marriages on the show probably aren’t going to survive the season. Nothing worse for a relationship than airing it on national tv.

Like any reality show, the plot is scripted and the events are staged. However, the personal toll it takes on its cast outside of filming is real. The divorces and separations of Southern Charm Charleston are not fake. Just ask T-Rav and JD. The real victims of all this are their young children. At least the adults are getting paid to mess up their own lives. Their kids are not so lucky.

I wouldn’t say she is a dumb bitch. But, she definitely thinks of herself very highly. The whole show is a joke. The new house they moved in is a rental. The husband is genuinely a nice guy.
