For this reason, I think Tony made a mistake not blindsiding Ben who has an idol. By not getting that idol out, he leaves himself a little vulnerable to Ben making a power play.
That, and Nick pointing out how quickly Ben was able to make fire on his season to make final 2. Nick and Tony both made a mistake not getting Ben out, though Tony can still survive it because he has an idol and he'd easily beat Ben in a final 2. Nick's decision making all season has been terrible.

Not sure what Nick was thinking voting Jeremy over Ben, but I guess he saw himself in Ben’s position and not the actual position he was in.
He made a comment that bothers me every season. He's the guy in the middle of two alliances that essentially has the deciding vote that day. So, he says "I am in a position of power". Sure, but when you break it down, that person is typically the weakest player in the game. They get to make a decision that week, but nobody on the jury will have respect for them because they are just flip flopping while the other players are making the moves.

100%. Just knowing he has an idol is reason enough to blindside him at this point.
I guess he figured he couldn’t risk blindsiding Sarah again.
Nick absolutely screwed up and I was impressed with how Michelle laid that out to him so clearly.

I legit think Sarah believes she can beat Tony and wants to go to the end with him. She has a strong case and will get votes, but I think Tony beats anyone honestly. How on earth has he not gotten a single vote yet?!? This dude is legendary regardless what happens in the finale.
The EoE returnee is obviously the wild card. I feel like for a first boot, Nat has dominated the Edge and gotten a ton of screen time so she’s my pick. Would be reallllllly interesting if she’s comes back beasting and we get a FTC of Tony, Sarah, and Nat. Still think winners would respect Tony’s incredible game but both the other two would get votes with 16 jurors.

Just to offer an opposing viewpoint, I would argue that Natalie would beat Tony in a final three matchup. Time after time during the season, we’ve been reminded of “old school” vs. “new school” and how much the game has changed through the years. Jeff has often asked if the game has left behind the old school players.
Along the same line, the EoE players have continued to play the game, but their game has been closer to the old school Survivor game with very limited food and some grueling endurance challenges. The also continued to manipulate the main game through the use of fire tokens and putting certain players in a power position.
There has really been to parallel games being played. In the main game, the players have had to survive being voted out at Tribal Council. In the EoE game, the plays have had to survive a much greater mental and physical battle against themselves, and they have had to keep from eliminating themselves by raising the flag.
Tony wins easily against any player (assuming he doesn’t do anything incredibly stupid before the finale) except Natalie. When the jury is mainly comprised of old school players and they have experienced the same mental and physical challenges that she has, and they witnessed her domination, I think they would absolutely lean towards giving Natalie their vote. Not only has she not had to backstab anyone, but Tyson would plead her case hard after her act of kindness towards him in the last episode.

Couldn't agree more. She has been consistent even with being on EOE the longest. She has the best chance to win if she gets back in the game.
Although I want Tony to win, I have a feeling he may not make it to the end.

Good lord, they have a full slate of work to do next week:
return challenge
THREE eliminations
Finale
Why do they insist now on cramming so much stuff into small times and/or just not airing shite? Like, do they even do reward challenges anymore? This is one of the very few network properties that still has reliably big ratings (and with the perfect demo)...why not just make the season 2-4 episodes longer?
I really don't like the fact that the play-in from Edge is literally 14 people. That isn't interesting to me at all. It's just random. They should have done some forced winnowing on Edge prior to the actual play in.

If I'm not mistaken it will be a three hour episode. I also think the very first thing will be the return challenge since they showed them "celebrating" their last day on EOE.
I agree with letting it go more episodes but we get what we get.

Probably because they are showing EoE challenges in place of them. It’s probably a good thing since too much “reward” food can really make things lopsided. And some times a player just got picked by the winner instead of earning it.

Good point. Could also be the reason some haven't lost as much weight as those in seasons past. Hell, Michelle looks great and it's almost at the end of the season. They are getting more than rice IMO.

I think they are more concerned with showing the social aspects of the game and tribals seem to be longer now as well.

I hear you, that’s exactly why I think Natalie is the one returnee above all others who could really shake things up BECAUSE of all she’s done on Edge which the whole jury basically has seen.
I think Tony runs away from any other EoE returnee except maybe Jeremy. But Natalie will give him a run if she comes back and makes a couple big moves down the stretch, then wins final immunity. I’d prefer a Tony win, but if it’s gotta be an Edge player winning, she’s the one I’d pick. It’d honestly be a great story being she’s not someone who deserves to be first boot.

Tony or Tyson wins it all.
Hint is out there Tyson gets back in again over Nat.
But we shall see.
Watch the last few minutes of the show again.
My final vote up to this points goes to Tony

Tony by far has played the best game. Hoping for a exciting finale.

They have really gone for the soap opera aspect of the show instead of the survival and competition aspects. Wish they'd go back to that.

If Michele makes it to the final three, she will be second survivor in history to play multiple seasons and never be voted off (Sandra was first, but she obviously got voted out this season).
Amanda did it first, finishing 3rd in China and then runner up to Parvati in Fans vs. Favorites.
Russell Hantz also made it through his first two seasons without getting voted out.
I can't believe Tony just went through two tribals without immunity and didn't pick up a single vote. I guess out there in the heat of the game it must not be as obvious how dominant he has been.
He deserves this win, against anyone in the final 3.

It freakin' blows my mind that Tony is dominating this much in an all-winner season. Michele is fully aware that he's dominating and Denise a little too. Sarah and Ben are delusional if they wanna sit next to him in the final 3.
I'd lose respect for any jury member that voted against him in the final 3. Whether it's against a current player or eoe player.
