Anybody catch this week's episode? I thought it was better than the first...had way more laughs and one-liners in it.

Fozzie's voice is still really grating on my nerves though. He's always been one of my favorite muppets, but the new voice is killing me.

I laughed pretty damn hard at Kermit playing the feminist angle against Piggy at the end.

And the hot rocks massage "Is someone cooking bacon?"

Maybe I didn't pay as much attention this week, but I didn't think it was quite as good as the pilot.

I forgot to add it to the DVR. Is it beginning to gel yet?

I enjoyed it again this week. My 2 favorite parts had to be "someone cooking bacon," and the very end where Kermit just waves "bye bye" to Groban.

I think it's pretty funny. The pilot was one of the stronger pilot episodes of any sitcom I've seen. That may be why I think episode 2 was a little lacking. But there were still some funny parts.

My favorite lines were from one of the characters I'm not familiar with (Uncle Deadly, apparently) that's kind of Miss Piggy's hair and make up person.

I laughed so hard at that. I really got a kick when Kermit was driving the golf cart

I really like that its been giving more time to Muppets that normally dont get more than a cameo in the movies.

It doesn't sound like it. And this show isn't listed on his IMDb page.

Agreed. There are so many muppets that you don't ever get to see outside of background and random lines.

The bacon line had me cracking up, as well as Kermit driving the golf cart like someone mentioned. It's the random, stupid shite like that that cracks me up so much.

And I just felt like there were so many one liners last night. Seems like every other line was some wisecrack or another and I was giggling nonstop for most of the episode.

I will say this though: the show could definitely use more Gonzo.

No. Frank retired in 2000. Eric Jacobson took over most of Frank's roles and does Fozzie, Piggy, Animal and Sam Eagle, as well as Bert and Grover on Sesame Street.

2000? I watched the last couple movies and didn't notice a difference so I guess he sounds pretty similar.

I need to add to DVR list. The last couple movies definitely were disappointing for me.

Someone mentioned random muppet things that crack u up. I always thought when Kermit introduced the musical guests and started waving his arms all around was hysterical for some reason.

Based on his IMDb page, that isn't anywhere near true.

Yeah, I see that. I was going on info from Wikipedia.

I wonder if he retired from the puppet part and just did voiceovers for a while.

But it certainly isn't him in the new show.

Looks like he just stopped voicing Fozzie and other muppets in 2000 according to the interwebs.

My favorite scene last night was with the bit between Big Mean Carl that can only scream working the receptionist desk and Fozzie when he gives him the message from Jay Leno:

Carl: Hey you, you got a message from JAY LENO!
Fozzie: Oh, oh, ok... what did he say?
Carl: He said he wanted to see you at his HOUSE!
Fozzie: Was he mad or is that just you?
Carl: I just take messages. I DON'T JUDGE TONE!!

Gonzo cock blocking Kermit's Lea Thompson fantasy was pretty solid though.
