Jack let's Walt live, and leaves him a barrel of money. Would never happen in real life after wasting DEA officers.
Jack spared Walter out of respect to his nephew Todd. Plus, like he said he was in a great mood after getting $80M.

He parks sideways even when told not to.
didn't matter much, he was a fly in their web. For all they knew Walt came to thrm for any dirty work. They underestimated him.

Walt ultimately dies in a meth lab he never worked in.
the lab was his design, it was familiar to him.

psychopathy is a lifelong personality characteristic. those behaviors would have existed throughout his life, which they clearly only happened after the cancer diagnosis

You have any evidence to back up the claim?

Walt doesn't tell his family about his cancer diagnosis and is very comfortable emotionally manipulating his spouse and his son, even prior to breaking bad. That lends credence to them being long-term habits, possibly lifelong traits.

But it was meth lab set up by his design and where his famous blue meth was cooked. Even though he never cooked there, he was probably at his happiest when he was just a meth cook. So for him to die there is fitting for his character.

Wasn’t the happiest possible ending for him but he was certainly feeling better about things compared to where he was days (?) ago up north in hiding. He had resolved his issues as best as he could.

Which kind of brings me to another point that pertains to OP’s topic. One of the best moments of the show to me was the ending of Granite State. It seems to forgotten about some because it’s after Ozymandias and before the finale, but the ending has to be a top 5 moment for me. It’s when Walt is about to turn himself in but his inner Heisenberg comes out one more time. I believe it’s the first and only time the show’s theme music is played during an episode.

BB was an afterthought with the Dad from Malcolm in The Middle.

they were also just licensing it from SONY. It wasn't a true AMC production, which was probably a great thing in retrospect.

I'll never forget the randomness and holy shite-ness of Walt out of nowhere plowing over the dealers Jesse was confronting.

....RUN

:shivers:

All of this. I'm getting caught up on BCS tonight and think it's great but there were so many times BB left me just frozen after an episode. Never seen anything like it, it was the perfect show the first time I watched it

Probably the best moment of the whole show

Sad thing is now Mike literally looks like he’s always on the way to the store to buy jello and pudding for him and his old folks home buddies.

So many great moments in that series.

That whole episode where Mike goes back to Philly to get the cops who killed his sone, was just great.

Johnathan Banks has really just perfected this role.
