Don't want to bad mouth anyone, but Ray Park, Chris Pratt, Kristen Bell, Emilia Clark, Daniel Bryan and Rob Reiner all came across as genuinely friendly people.

That sucks. Always heard his dad is one of the nicest.

Paul Walker and James Gandolfini for sure.

My Father in Law was an extra in Killing them Softly. While on set he was eating, and he feels two hands come start rubbing his shoulders. Then he hears Gandolfini say... "Look i'm a fat bastard, and this guy needs a few more cheeseburgers to be my stand in." He said Gandolfini was awesome to be around the entire time, and by the end of the day they were cracking fat jokes on each other.

I've herad nice things about John Goodman.

Some guy I was used to work with a long time ago claimed that he ran into him at esplanade mall, and he got Goodman to tell him to shut the frick up. Funny if true, but I wouldn't count on it.

The list of stars at JGs funeral was pretty ridiculous. Everyone loved that guy.

I think his dad was a janitor, literally, so he was always super grateful and humble.

Always nice hearing about stories like that. Hear the same about Paul Walker. Just a genuinelly super regular dude and way cooler than some of his on screen personas would make you think.

Bruce Willis seems like he can be an a-hole.

My wife shared some vodka and some laughs with Anna Faris at the Audi (I think) Superbowl Party in NOLA a couple years back. They talked about Anna's kid and how much Anna liked my wife's hair. She was plastered. Chris Pratt was apparently wandering around half keeping an eye on his wife.

Then my wife met Paul Scheer (Andre from the League) and asked him if he had as much trouble with women in real life as he did on the show... That went over well.

Looper was the first big movie my company did any work for. We had done a few local productions, but Looper is what really got us noticed in the film industry. I got invited to the set. On the way there I got an email from a PA saying that Bruce is having a "dark day" and has requested that no visitors be on set.

John Goodman is a really nice guy, but if you see him at the City Park driving range, don't bother him. That dude lit in to a guy one time for asking him, "why are you here?"

From personal experience....the nicest:
George Foreman
Gerard Butler
Sylvester Stallone
Walter Payton
Robert Redford
Joanna Cassidy
Ronald Reagan
Jimmy Connors
Terry Bradshaw

Some famous people were a little withdrawn or shy so I can't put them in the a-hole category. But the one true a-hole I encountered was:
Keith Carradine

People I know personally and their encounters. The nicest:
Paul Newman
Bear Bryant
Kevin Costner
Demi Moore
William Hurt (shy but nice)

The assholes:
Dr. Phil
Jeremy Piven (the person who told me works in the movie industry and said he is hands down by far the absolute worst)
Karl Malone

My friend and I were in an elevator with Bradley Cooper a few years ago. I didn't want to say anything to him because I figured he'd be annoyed, but my friend just started talking to him. He turned out to be really friendly and actually asked us what we were getting into that night.

I know he was just asking to be nice, but for a second I thought maybe we came off as people Bradley Cooper wanted to hang out with. I still brag about it all the time.

Anthony Daniels is a jerk from what I hear.

Yeah, supposedly the biggest a-hole ever and openly despised by everyone he's ever worked with. He thinks of himself as the next Peter O'Toole, when the only thing they have in common is the tool part. He's had like 5 roles outside of C3PO, and that's because he's the absolute worst person in the world to work with. Next to the Star Wars Christmas Special, I suspect giving Anthony Daniels a career is Lucas's biggest regret.

I've also read that Tom Hanks is a pretty nice guy.

I was friends with George Foreman's daughter in high school and they used to have a house next door to Hanks in Malibu. She said he was a dick that was always coming over complaining that the kids were playing too loudly outside.

Maybe the kids really were playing the music too loudly outside. Maybe it was even late at night. Sounds like something I would have done as an inconsiderate teenager.
